You reap what you sow.

Procrastination is common not just in school, but throughout life. Our gravitation toward putting things off makes it easy for slothfulness to creep into our lives. Sometimes, we prioritize the less important over the critical. Proverbs 13:4 and 21:25 say that:

“The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, while the soul of the diligent is richly supplied” and “The desire of the sluggard kills him, for his hands refuse to labor.”

If you are a Christian who struggles with this, be encouraged to pursue diligence. It’s never too late to start putting slothfulness to death and reap the benefits that come with doing so. Whether it is reading the Word, praying, fellowshipping, or evangelizing, we have a responsibility to prioritize God over everything else in our lives. So don’t procrastinate. Instead, pray that the Lord would help you and be diligent in spiritual disciplines.

The advancement of the gospel needs to be the ulti

The advancement of the gospel needs to be the ultimate goal of every Christian who is involved in the pro-life movement.

What it comes down to is love: our reason for standing outside Planned Parenthood, giving out resources, saying everything we can to change their minds, and praying for them needs to be from a place of love. As it says in 1 Corinthians 13:1-3,

“If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.”

Because we love people (whether born or not), we are willing to warn men and women that abortion is destructive and wicked. It not only takes the life of a human being, but also effects the life of the woman, emotionally and physically.

This is extremely important. Nevertheless, what is more important than someone’s eternity? As Jesus said, “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul?” (Matthew 16:26). Even if they switch their position on abortion, they will still stand before God and have to answer for their sins. The most loving thing we can for them is warn them that they are in danger of God’s wrath, and that Jesus loved them enough to die for them. He took our punishment on the cross.

Whatever the issue is we are passionate about, whether it is abortion, homosexuality, racism, or atheism, our target should be sharing the gospel.

This not only applies to the younger generation, but also to Christian college students throughout America. In especially public colleges, students are getting pumped with the principles of demons. From gender-identity to evolution, many professors teach destructive falsehoods and call it factual.

How do we stand against the lies of universities? It’s simple: be steadfast in prayer, look to the Bible for truth, surround yourself with solid believers, and don’t compromise your faith. The enemy is cunning, and wants to steal, kill, and destroy. So, make sure you have the amor of God (Ephesians 6) and give your time to God.
